The patio is adorned with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, and my 5-year-old niece was completely captivated by the butterflies. The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent. I tried the only vegan dish on the menu (even though I'm not vegan, I was craving some vegetables), and it was a delightful mix! All the veggies were perfectly seasoned and incredibly refreshing. I would definitely come back. Plus, the water they serve is infused with lemon and cucumber!
The food at this restaurant is absolutely excellent. I really enjoyed the fries, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh. What stands out the most, though, is the service. Every server here offers world-class service. I would definitely love to return if given the opportunity. The outdoor patio heaters are great, too! Don't miss out on ordering the chicken wings—they're a must!
A true hidden gem! The food was incredible, and the staff were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about the history of the mill and gladly answered all our questions. While the menu isn't extensive, everything we ordered was expertly prepared and delicious. The gluten-free chocolate cake was absolutely divine!
This is, without hyperbole, my favorite restaurant in California. It's the kind of restaurant that makes me rue every time I've given a 5 star review to something not at this level. Eating at The Mill is like being invited to your friend's house for dinner, except in this case your friend is a famous chef who likes adding flavor twists to classic food. You can feel the thought and care that goes into each dish as it transports you back to being a kid ratatouille style eating your favorite food after a long day of school. Did I mention they can do virtually the entire menu gluten free and vegan? Or that they have the most lovely wait staff? No, because the food is that good. As we were leaving the restaurant every person we saw was talking in disbelief about how good their food/experience was. They only have 3 employees at the moment but they were outrageously kind, welcoming, and helpful. I tried the gluten free clam chowder, pizza, a pastrami sandwich, and the rice pudding. The chowder and pudding were my favorites. I will be trying the Masala pancakes next time.
Food was great and our server was fantastic! We got a few ciders and it was so refreshing on a hot day. I got a pastrami on rye and my wife got a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and we thoroughly enjoyed both. The food was lovely, but the scenery and location are unbelievable. Definitely worth a stop when you are in town.
